Professor Heinrich will be presenting a seminar of "The Efficacy of Providers of Supplemental Educational Services (SES) in Increasing Student Achievement." The presentation will be on the 11th floor of the Educational Sciences building at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 4, 2011.

February 2011: Provider Briefing
Principal investigators Carolyn Heinrich and Patricia Burch presented preliminary results from the study over the Internet to SES Providers. The presentation was conducted on February 1, 2011.
December 2010 District Briefing: Beyond the Bell & Behind the Door
Principal investigators Carolyn Heinrich and Tricia Burch will visit each district participating in the Supplemental Education Service Integrated Qualitative and Quantitative study. The visits will include a meeting with the district staff to describe preliminary findings from the study as well as ongoing research activities. The briefings will take place on the following dates in the study sites:
December 8, 2010 in Dallas, TX; December 9 in Austin, TX; December 14 in Milwaukee, WI; December 15 in Chicago, IL; December 16 in Minneapolis, MN.
This project is a joint effort of the Center for Health and Social Policy at Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, University of Texas at Austin, the Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California, and the Wisconsin Center for Education Research and Value-Added Research Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
